2006 Junior Women - Championship Results
Marika Bakewell's squad of Stephanie Corrado, Kristy Wallace, Danielle Inglis, and fifth Hollie Nicol prevailed over 11 other provincial finalists in the women's event in becoming this year's tour champions. In a style befitting of their dominant tour season, Team Bakewell rounded off the championships with a streak of wins to reach the final against Laura Payne's provincial runner-up team hailing from Ottawa.
2006 Junior Men - Championship Results
Rob Bushfield's foursome of Derek Cowan, Alex Coon, and Darren Anderson walked through an equally stellar field of junior men's teams from all over Ontario with an undefeated record. In another tightly fought final, Bushfield's Brockville team was pitted against Chris Gardner's rink in a battle of Ottawa representatives. In fact, of the 8 teams attending this event from the Ottawa region, 5 made the playoffs in their respective events out of the 24 teams in attendance.
