Kee and Haymes: 2012 Tour Champions

Team Kee and Team Haymes took the Tour title this weekend at the 9th Annual OJCT Championships held at the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club.
 

Team Haymes won a decisive victory over Team Shannon Kee in the women's final, 7-3, after defeating Team Brandwood 7-5 in the Page 1v1 game to advance to the final. Team Brandwood met Team S. Kee in the Semi-final, who was coming off a decisive 6-0 victory over Team Adams in the Page 2v2 game, and defeated Team Brandwood 8-0 in a second shut-out match.
 

On the men's side, Team Doug Kee defeated Team Lyon-Hatcher 6-3 in the men's final, after edging past the same team in the Page 1v1 game, 8-7. Team Lyon-Hatcher met Team Bevan in the Semi-final, who was coming off a win over Team Brandon, defeating Bevan 9-1 to advance to the final.

Be sure to vote for the best players for each position based on performance during the tour season as well as for characteristics such as sportsmanship.

Bevan, Kreviazuk, Scott and Brandwood Top at TCAs

Team Kreviazuk and Team Bevan prevailed at this season's TCA Junior Championships in Toronto. Team Kreviazuk won a decisive match versus Team Loney in the Women's event, 8-1.  On the Men's side, Team Bevan defeated Team Minty in a 7-4 victory.

In the Bantam event, Team Scott and Team Brandwood came out on top. Team Scott prevailed over Team Bradey in the men's final, while Team Brandwood topped Team Rozon in the women's final.

Doug Kreviazuk Joins the OJCT Board

The Board is pleased to announce that Doug Kreviazuk will join the other volunteer directors and represent the Ottawa region alongside Art Miskew. Doug is currently Chair of the OVCA Junior Superspiel organizing committee.
