Our team made the 'X' event of an OJCT spiel, but didn't get the points we were expecting.
Event-formatted tournaments are only addressed by the point formula if they qualify as the playoff round for that event. For example, if you entered a 16 team event-formatted spiel and made the B event (a two-event spiel where 8 teams qualify for each event), you would only receive points on a per-win basis. Whereas teams that made the A event would be considered to have qualified for the playoff round of the event. This is to keep consistent with non-event spiels where, on average, half the participating teams qualify for a playoff round. The same applies to a 4 event tournament, where only events A through B would be considered a playoff round and receive points as per the event factor in the point formula (E).
I can't login to the forums, or forget my username/password.
You just signed up, but it won't let you log in The registration system uses an e-mail verification method to make sure you've signed up with a valid e-mail address. You will have received an e-mail from the OJCT Forums with a verification link to validate your username. This e-mail often finds its way into junk or spam folders, so if you have one of those, check it. If you still haven't received it, you have likely entered the wrong e-mail address and should try registering again. It's also possible that your internet service provider ( "ISP" ) has a spam/junk filter built into their server that you don't have access to from e-mail software, like outlook, etc.. If you can check your ISP e-mail via the web, you should be able to view this folder there to see if it was filtered out. I'm a previous user but can't login You forgot your password it seems! Either that or you forgot your username as well. This is why we've provided the forgotten password form on the login-page. Enter the e-mail address you likely signed up with and an e-mail will be sent to you with all the details. Once again, if you didn't receive the e-mail within an hour of submitting the form, check your spam or junk mail folders first before e-mailing us. The forgotten password form couldn't find my e-mail address, or I'm not sure which one I used Then try setting up a new account with your current e-mail address. If that fails, you'll know which account you used to signup with in the first place.
